Ms Planet Beach Cover Model
It all begins at a local preliminary Cover Model Search in different communities across North America. Check our schedule to see where the next Cover Model Search is being held. Contact the location representative to get the details. The procedures will vary slightly from location to location. Normally model contestants appear in dressy cocktail dresses and then swim wear. There is no height requirement to enter. Model contestants must be eighteen before January 1, 2012 the time of the next Planet Beach International Convention in New Orleans. Model contestants may be married or single. They may also be mothers.
Various host locations usually offer prizes to the contestants consisting of cash and gifts. These gifts and prizes will vary in different locations. There is never an entry fee to enter a Ms Planet Beach Cover Model Search
Several model contestants are selected by a panel of judges at each host location to advance on to the Regional competition in late summer. The exact date and location will be announced. So check back on our web site to stay posted.
The judges are looking for the most attractive models giving points for over all beauty and for poise and personality.
Events:

The First Round
of competition will have models appearing on stage or the staging area in cocktail dresses or dressy party wear and heels. Even a six foot model will look more attractive in heels than in flats. Limits on attire are shown below and must be strictly adhered to.
Preliminary Cover Model Competition

Your Ms. Planet Beach preliminary event will have the same clothing criteria as the Ms. Planet Beach International World Finals event. Both events will be expected to be in alignment with the Planet Beach Cover Model Search Guidelines. We want to emphasize the importance of high levels of class and sophistication of each competition. Please see the guidelines below guidelines referring to clothing for the contestants. During World Finals week the Planet Beach Entertainment & Media team will be very firm with ensuring that contestants adhere to the clothing criteria. Please keep in mind that this event is televised throughout North America!

Preliminary Cover Model Competition

Ø All clothing recommended for the competitions must be tasteful and classy. Breasts and bottom must be covered completely. No excessive cleavage showing and no skirts or dresses that are shorter than mid-thigh length.
The below displayed dresses are not acceptable and any model wearing them may be disqualified.
These are all too revealing
There will be a short break between rounds of competition to allow the models time to change into their next outfit.
The Second Round
of competition will have models appearing on stage or the staging area in swim wear. This may include swim suits of the model’s choice as long as the suits fit within the Ms Planet Beach guidelines. Heels should be worn while in swim suites. The same shoes may be worn in each round of competition. Limits on attire are shown below and must be strictly adhered to.
Attire or Clothing for models
One or two piece swimsuits
Swimsuits must be tasteful
Heels are preferred – flats are acceptable – no bare feet – no flip flops
Red Swim Suits are not required any color is acceptable
Swimsuits worn for both the preliminary competition and regional final event will be a one-piece or two-piece. The swimsuit MUST cover breasts and bottom fully. The articles of clothing selected should not represent lingerie pieces in any way.
Absolutely no thongs, T-backs, Brazilian cuts, or transparent swimsuits will be
allowed during any pageant event

Procedures:
Models will walk across the staging area for the audience and the judges. It is a very simple procedure with nothing complicated. If a model can walk in heels and look attractive she knows and has all that is required. There will be no dancing or lewd suggestive behavior permitted at any time. Class and dignity will be maintained at all times so Models do not have to be concerned with the quality of the show in which they are participating. Previous stage modeling experience or photography modeling experience is not required.
At no time is the emcee or are the judges to make any suggestive comments or ask such questions nor are they to make any suggestive gestures.
Announcement of Winners and awarding of prizes:
The top winners will be announced and prizes awarded. The Emcee will announce to the winners and the guests that the top models will in addition to receiving the gifts also be attending the local host finals if this is a multi week event or the Regional Finals if this is a one day event. From the Regional Finals the winner will become one of five Planet Beach Cover Models.

will be one of five Cover Models for Planet Beach for the 2012 promotional campaign and will receive:

National Syndicated one hour TV special that will reach over 53%
of U.S households. Participate in an amazing two day photo shoot with professional fashion photographers.
Featured in one of the quarterly Planet Beach Marketing Campaigns and receive International recognition.
Numerous travel and business opportunities
Many beautiful prizes
Part of a prize package worth over $50,000.
Age Requirements
Minimum age 18 with the model reaching her eighteenth birthday before January 1, 2011.
Contestants may be Married or Single - They may also have children
Previous Modeling Experience is not required
Enter more than once
If a contestant model does not win at the local model search she is encouraged to enter the Ms Planet Beach Cover Model Search at a different location and improve her chance of winning. Sometimes a different hair style, a different dress or even a more pleasing attitude may make a model a winner. Don’t give up after only one attempt….. Try again.
